PROGRAM MANAGER
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program Management Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
- You will serve as the NCTE Program Manager (RS20P) to execute the command's designated role as Technical Agent for the U.S. Navy's Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training integrating architecture and environment.
- You will provide oversight of the NCTE Program Management Branch and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) covering budgeting, financial management and analysis, property management and contracting strategy/execution.
- You will work with senior Navy leadership to evolve the NCTE program in support of the Navy's LVC Training vision.
- You will initiate investigations, analyses, risk-management studies, etc. to deliver solutions to critical problems.
- You will approve planning, programming, and budget preparation and execution plans and documents. Monitors program level cost, schedule, and performance and adjusts plans as required as coordinated with sponsors.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector financial management and analysis, budget execution, and knowledge of government contracting processes to develop and implement business and contract strategies for programs with Navy-wide and Joint Force impact. I possess strong leadership skills, am able to foster collaboration and partnerships, incorporate ethical decision making, and display superior communication skills to align and interface with sponsors, other government stakeholders and defense contractors.
