ELECTRIC POWER CONTROLLER

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Operating power distribution systems characterized by a wide variety of uses; 2) Interpreting priority lists to plan load shedding schedules; 3) Interpreting load requests to schedule blocks of power requested by users; 4) Interpreting operating instructions and distribution equipment operating criteria; 5) Interpreting circuit diagrams and equipment layout drawings; 6) Interpreting guidelines such as load shedding priority schedule, operating criteria of equipment, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
